By Jeff Marchesseault GUAM - Wanda Colon, the host of TLC's interior design show Home Made Simple, will be joined by at least two other celebrities for a Fourth of July celebration on Guam. On June 21, Guam News Factor promised to "keep its interior design radar on for any inkling of an upcoming visit by the designer/TV personality/screenwriter/filmmaker" when the Factor learned from The News & Observer that Colon "was set to join the USO Armed Forces tour on trips to Japan, South Korea, Guam and Hawaii."
According to WestsideToday.com, Colon will celebrate July 4th on Guam with star couple Tim Reid ("WKRP in Cincinnati") and Daphne Maxwell Reid ("The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"). WestsideToday.com reports that Colon, whose brother is a former U.S. Marine, wants to honor her brother and support America's troops with the special visit. The online news source reports that Colon will also visit bases in Hawaii, Kwajalein and Okinawa on her Pacific tour.
