GUAM - On Thursday, a retired U.S. sailor will reveal the meanings of various Navy traditions at a luncheon open to the public. For those interested in attending, The Navy League of Guam provides details in the attached announcement, below. Quarterly Navy League Luncheon Thursday, November 12th, 2009 The Navy League of Guam announces their quarterly membership luncheon on Thursday, November 12th, 2009 at the Hilton Chi Chi Rika Room at 11:30 a.m. This meeting is open to Navy League members and all interested individuals. This month's speaker will be John Dennett (USN retired) to discuss Navy traditions and their meanings. "We are pleased that John will be able to share these interesting facts and information with the members and the general public", said Rita Miller, President of the Navy League.
