Miss Guam Universe Organization Now Planning For May 2010 Local Pageant

GUAM - The Miss Guam Universe organization is aiming to have its next pageant in early May of 2010, and local pageant watchers already have their eye on some potential competition.

According to the Honolulu Advertiser, Renee Mokihana Nobriga was crowned the 2010 Miss Hawaii USA on Tuesday evening.  Nobriga will go on to compete for Miss USA -- a qualifying round for the Miss Universe Pageant.

Because Guam competes against the United States in the Miss Universe pageant, the winner of the Miss Guam Universe crown will go straight to the Miss Universe contest this summer.
