LRM House, a stunning architectural masterpiece designed by Studio AG Arquitetura, has recently been completed in the bustling city of São Paulo, Brazil. Situated on a narrow and long site with dense neighbors on both sides, the design of the house was heavily influenced by its surroundings.
To optimize natural light and ventilation, the architects strategically placed openings to the front and back sides of the property. As guests approach the house from the left side, they are greeted by a large span of light that fills the ground floor. A striking graffiti artwork by renowned Brazilian artist Crânio welcomes visitors, serving as both a decorative element and a protector of the house.
The design of LRM House truly showcases the family’s love for art, with various artworks prominently displayed throughout the space. On the ground floor, a solid block houses the kitchen, circulation area, half bath, and technical area.
One of the most impressive features of the house is the seamless connection between the interior and exterior spaces. Thanks to large retractable glass panels, residents can effortlessly transition from the comfort of the indoors to the beauty of the outdoors. This not only promotes air circulation but also maximizes the entry of natural light.
Moving to the upper floor, three luxurious suites and a spacious living room await. Additionally, there is a third floor that houses an office, gym, and sauna, providing ample space for work, exercise, and relaxation.
Another standout aspect of LRM House is its active façade. Incorporating a milky glass curtain wall with fixed panels and bi-folded windows, the façade effectively filters sunlight and protects the bedrooms, ensuring the residents’ privacy while still allowing for stunning views of the surroundings.
Furthermore, sustainability was a key focus in the design process. The house features water reuse systems and employs photovoltaic panels to contribute to its energy efficiency, reducing its environmental impact and showcasing responsible architectural practices.
LRM House encapsulates innovative design, art appreciation, and sustainable living in one magnificent creation. It stands as a testament to the creativity and talent of Studio AG Arquitetura, while also adding to the architectural beauty of São Paulo, Brazil.
