Fiona the sheep, who had been stranded for over two years at the foot of a remote cliff in the Scottish highlands, has finally been rescued. The operation, deemed a “major operation,” was carried out by a group of Scottish farmers in collaboration with the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).
Fiona’s plight first came to light in 2021 when a resident near the Cromarty Firth cliff spotted her. Despite efforts to rescue her, the sheep remained trapped until now.
